I'm a subscriber to both Fundamentals and Horizons and there used to be a page that showed all the videos listed in reverse order of creation (newest videos on top).
I can no longer find that page, can you point it out?
When you log in (and you scroll down) you will see the videos listed as I published them (newest videos at the top) year to date. And if you scroll down to the bottom of this list you will see the list continues all the way back to when I started in 2018 in the "Archive" section.
I think this is what you want? Of course keep in mind I publish videos in the order I make them... but they may be videos in different collections.
I see that page when I log in, but I don't see a way to navigate to it if I am already logged in. In the past, I have logged out and then back in to get to it, but it would be nice to know if there is a better way.
The "Home" link in the breadcrumb list takes me to the forum home, where the forums are listed. The "Home"
link at the left side of the top menu takes me to a plausible home page for the site, but it does not show the list of videos.
The only time that I ever see the list of videos is on the landing page that shows when my login is successful.
Here's where it gets strange: As a test, I just logged out and back in. That took me to the page with the list of videos (it says "WELCOME INTREPID ASTROPHOTOGRAPHER" at the top. Now, the "Home" link at the left side of the top menu does take me back to that page. It did not do that the first time I clicked that link, before logging out and in.
Something that I am doing must be affecting the state of the site. I'll go about my typical activity today and then try again tomorrow to see if it gets back to the state where the list of videos doesn't show.
No... the forum site (this page) is NOT my website. It is a different application. On this page there are two "homes". The larger one will take you back to my website. Once on my website the HOME links refer to the members page... the first page with the listing of videos.
I understand that they are different applications. As I said, the "home" link in the breadcrumbs takes me to the forum home. It does not take me back to your site's home page. It gives me a list of available forums.
I do find that the top left "Home" link still does take me to the home page with the list of videos in chronological order. I am sure that I've seen the behavior where the Home link takes me to the home page that you see if you are not logged in (no list of videos), but I cannot reproduce it right now. I have some ideas as to what might be happening, but it may be unique to my client machine, related to some security stuff that I run (I have deep experience with internet security and have a thicker tin foil hat than most folks).
The right answer is that the "Home" link at the upper left takes you to the home page with the video list mentioned in this thread.
Yes, on the forum this breadcrumb will take to you the forum home.
The larger home goes back to my site. On my site I also have a breadcrumb home that links back to the member page.
There may be a caching thing where you an see messages- but not be logged in. So if you go to my website home from here... when you get there you are not logged in (or something).
If you can reproduce it... let me know.
If I had the ability I would change the "homes" on this forum to read "Forum Home" and "ABS Home" or something.
