Super Luminance creation

Adam,

Do you have an example of super luminance creation in either fundamentals or Horizons using the 4 Master Lights from WBPP,
 (LRGB) and image integration?

Thanks,

Brent

  • I think I may have done it in the old workflow video for NGC 2835.

  • Adam,
Thanks for your response. I have been reviewing your latest M83 LRGB work flow. And I reviewed your example for NGC 2835 to create a super luminance from Master Lights (LRGB) with imageintergration.
I am trying to create a super luminance where I do not have the XNML files so I just want to create from master light files.
Imageintegration tool has change some of the options. I have added all 4 master lights (LRGB); selected no rejection; but in the imageintegration options the Weight options no longer has "noise evaluation"

I have notice if I select PSF Signal Weight it will still compile. Is this the same as the selecting "noise evaluation"?

Thanks for your help and your wonderful video.

    Brent

  • Actually noise evaluation is synonymous with PSF SNR. (review my weighting videos!)
But yes, PSF SIgnal Weight is fine.
