Lab colour space adjustment

Hi Adam

I'd like to recreate the Lab colour adjustment that you often in past demonstrated with Photoshop (PS) in Pixinsight (PI). The intent is to give more pleasing colours to the final PI image. 

You demonstrate how to do this approximately in the Horizon Video on M51 with Ha by the use of Curves Transformation (CT). Here, you explain that PI has implemented the math expressions differently from PS and so you have to compensate for the offsets in the RGB space by manipulation of the CT curves a, b and green channel. 

Is it possible to define a Pixel math expression that would allow you to do this exactly ?

Not that I am aware of... it is beyond me if it exists.

I did have this conversation with Mike Cranfield about this a while ago. I should probably revisit.
