WBPP and NSG subframe weighting

I select Registration and Image solving as the only to boxes in WBPP. As per the video for preparing files for NSG. The authors website states this too.
I then get a message that I have to select subframe weighting when I select reference frame in NSG..
Have things changed?

    My video may be dated... things evolve.
    I would need to dive back in..but I think this is because of the new measurement and weighting steps that happen in WBPP (this began a few years ago).
