Image integration

I'm progressing in Fast Track.   In the section on Image Integration, I was following along and I loaded files as in the video.   I got an error message that I was missing local normalization data.      Obviously I missed some step in the previous videos.   I will start over, but any hint on where normalized files are created?  Not in WBP.  Not in  Image calibration?
Thanks

  • Hi Karen,

In FastTrack Training I do not show Local Normalization. (So these files are not generated.)
You just used "Additive and Scaling" for normalization in ImageIntegration. Later in Fundamentals I explain what Local Normalization is about. If I explained everything in FastTrack Training...it would not be fast and people would critique me that I explain too much they don't want to know.

You received that error because previously you used ImageIntegration and likely loaded LocalNormalization files. However, those will not match the new data from FastTrack... so you get an error.

You do not need to start over. Either press the button to clear the local normalization files.. or better... reset ImageIntegration by pressing the plus/star button at the very bottom right. Then set it up like I show to integrate images.

  • I did get WBPP working.  I noticed that I had a different number of steps in the Pipeline than in the video.    For me, it’s a good idea to rewatch the videos since I missed some things.  I started over.   It’s all working for now.
I am looking forward to going back to my own data and seeing if my images improve.   I was not using cosmic correction, Debayering, bad frames rejection.
    Thanks
